A number of reliable sites are now confident that Apple is launching their next mobile phone in about a month and a half.
Most are leaning towards that Apple will be holding a new event in mid-September. After the technology site iMore got out with the date September 12.

Even iLounges sources speak of an event in mid-September. But this is question mark for speedy release of iPad Mini, instead, it may well only be for new models of iPhone and iPod (as well as new cases).

Traditionally, Apple tends to spread out their launches and new products usually have their own events, so you get the maximum exposure in the media. This should perhaps not expect too much of an iPad Mini autumn.
